These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all transactions made on the website Institut Georges Valois (hereinafter "the Site"). By accessing the Site and making a purchase, you accept these terms without reservation. The Institut Georges Valois reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. The applicable GTC are those in effect at the time of the order.
Article 1 – Purpose
These GTC aim to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of products and services offered by the Institut Georges Valois via its Site.
Article 2 – Products and Services
The Institut Georges Valois offers for sale various products (booklets, etc.) as well as services (memberships, etc.). Each product or service is subject to a detailed description on the Site. The photographs, descriptions, and information are provided for informational purposes only and may change without notice.
Article 3 – Prices
The prices of the products and services are indicated in euros, all taxes included (VAT), excluding any potential delivery costs. The Institut Georges Valois reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but the price applicable to the order is the one in effect at the time of validation.
Article 4 – Ordering
The ordering process is as follows:
Selection of products or services.
Cart validation.
Identification or creation of a customer account.
Validation of personal information and the order.
Secure online payment.
Any order placed on the Site constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the products and services available for sale. Once the order is validated, a confirmation email will be sent to the address provided during the order.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is made online via credit card through a secure payment platform. Banking information is not stored by the Institut Georges Valois. The payment of the order is required for the shipment or access to the products and services.
Article 6 – Delivery
Physical products are delivered to the address provided at the time of the order. Delivery times vary depending on the type of product and destination. The Institut Georges Valois cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery caused by postal services or carriers.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the receipt of the product or the conclusion of the contract for services.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify their decision to withdraw in writing (letter, email). The return costs of physical products are the responsibility of the customer. This right of withdrawal does not apply to immediately downloadable digital products or services that have already been executed (e.g., a seminar that has already taken place).
Article 8 – Warranty and Liability
The Institut Georges Valois is committed to providing products and services that comply with the description provided on the Site. In case of non-conformity or hidden defects, the customer benefits from the legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects as provided by the French Consumer Code and Civil Code.
The responsibility of the Institut Georges Valois cannot be engaged for any inconvenience or damages inherent to the use of the Internet (including loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption, etc.).
Article 9 – Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (texts, images, videos, logos, etc.) is protected by intellectual property rights and is the exclusive property of the Institut Georges Valois. Any reproduction, representation, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the elements of the Site without the prior written authorization of the Institut is strictly prohibited.

The information collected on the Site during the order is processed in accordance with the legislation in force on the protection of personal data. The customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their personal data, which they can exercise by contacting the Institut Georges Valois.
Article 11 – Disputes and Applicable Law
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action. Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the Institut Georges Valois' headquarters.
